I just ordered online, when will I receive my package?
All orders are packed and shipped within 3-5 business days of being ordered online. (this does not include items that are on preorder or backorder, which ship approximately 2-3 weeks from order). If you order items that are on preorder with regular items, we will ship your entire order together, unless otherwise agreed upon.

All U.S. orders are shipped via USPS Priority, which usually arrives within 2 business days.

Where is my package?
You'll receive an email when your order is shipped with a tracking number. Please let us know within two weeks of shipping if your package doesn't arrive. 


Shipping info:
WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY! Every int'l package we've sent gets lost and then I have to file a claim and it's a whole thing so we gave up. We love <3 our postal carriers and know they're doing their best!

You'll receive an email when your order is shipped with a tracking number. If your package hasn't arrived within two weeks of shipping, please email us. If your package has been lost in transit, we will file a claim with the USPS for a resolution (usually reimbursing The Future) before sending out a replacement.

The Future is not liable for lost, damaged, returned or stolen packages, and once it leaves our hands we aren't able to track it any more than you are via the tracking link.

All USPS Priority Mail packages are insured by USPS for up to $50. If USPS misdelivered or misplaced your order, you are entitled to that compensation but you must file a claim yourself as you are the recipient. If you would like a replacement sent from The Future, we will file a claim with USPS but aren't able to send a replacement out until the claim with USPS is resolved. This can take up to a month, depending on the USPS' response time. We do not send out replacement items until a claim is completely resolved. 

How can I get ahold of customer service?
The best way is through email: thefuturempls@gmail.com. You can also call us during shop hours at 612-470-7337 but we'll probably ask you to send an email to help us stay organized.

What's the return policy?
The Future does not accept returns or exchanges, unless there is a manufacturer's defect. Part of the benefit offering unique, artist-made wares is that The Future pays those artists and vendors quickly, so we’re not able to issue refunds.  If you buy something and it's damaged please let us know and we can work to remedy the situation.

Are you looking for new artists and designers?
Yes, The Future is always looking for new artists and designers. If you'd like to submit work for us to consider, please email thefuturempls@gmail.com. Include a website, linesheet, or photos of your work. Please do not bring in samples in-person, unless you don't want them back. Please keep in mind we're a small team, so please don't be offended if you don't hear back from us!

Can I bring work to shop for you to look at?
We do not review any work in person at the shop. If you would like to submit your work, please email thefuturempls@gmail.com.

Where do your crystals come from?
Our crystal supplier is Village Silversmith--we work with them because they ethically source crystals and are 
AGTA-certified, which means in part that they are conscious of their supply chain and ethical practices.

Have a question about your pin order from Gigi's Flair Emporium?
Gigi's Flair Emporium is a popup shop inside of The Future--we're friends but separate businesses. What’s up with the all the Prince?
Well, it is Minneapolis….and Prince’s costumes were made in The Future’s space in the 80’s, so there’s some special Prince energy in the air.

Are you looking for tarot/astrology readers for the shop?
Due to COVID and being closed to the public for a while, and downsizing our space, we're not doing in-person readings, so not taking on new readers.
