November 11: Astrology Dinner Party
A one-of-a-kind dinner party/ astrology class. Learn about the full moon and Mercury Retrogade. Make new friends. Eat a delicious dinner!

On Monday, November 11 at 6PM in Minneapolis, the Sun will have just set and the full moon will have just risen. If it was possible to look out and below the Western Horizon, we would see the planet Mercury perfectly aligned with the Sun from our point of view on Earth. This is an important moment in the synodic cycle of Mercury and marks the end of its apparition in the evening sky and its transition to becoming a morning light over the next few weeks. In astrological perspective, Mercury’s exact alignment with the Sun also marks an important moment in its retrograde phase when our individual minds have expanded access to celestial consciousness.

Come gather for an astrology dinner party where we’ll celebrate the full moon and Mercury’s “cazimi” conjunction with the Sun. Our recipes will be inspired by the chart of the moment - each dish a poetic interpretation of planetary “flavors”. Dinner guests will co-create the menu, each bringing 1-2 ingredients. As the guests and ingredients are introduced, we’ll learn about the astrology chart for the moment and Mercury’s retrograde cycle and create a full moon ritual.
