Future resident--Fletcher Barnhill

Multi-instrumentalist Fletcher Barnhill was born & raised in Minneapolis, MN. In 2009 he formed the band Radical Cemetery with Eric Carlson & Aaron Anderson. The band recorded two albums, & participated in numerous art installations, including events at the Soap Factory & AZ gallery. Fletcher has continued his experimental music practice, playing drums & synthesizer with the bands Joint Custody, RONiiA, & FUGITIVE.  Inspired from his film score work with RONiiA, in 2016 Fletcher received the Cedar Cultural Center’s 416 commission where he composed a series of songs focused on the pains of climate change. Since then, Fletcher has performed as the bassist for The Cult of Percolation, & IN//VIA . For his time at The Future, Fletcher plans to return to writing original electronic soundscapes using synths & drum machines.
