Chris Larson is an artist and graphic designer whose work draws upon queer themes, allegory, contemporary culture, tarot, dreams, decorative arts and fashion. The resulting images are open-ended mini-narratives that engage a viewer’s intuition and invite them to ponder and/or project their own interpretation.
Often switching back and forth between digital and analog methods throughout his process, Chris fuses hand-drawn and digitally painted elements, photography, pattern design, printmaking and bookbinding techniques within his work—sometimes, all in a single piece. All of which is to say that he is very excited to play around with the Future’s Risograph during his residency!
