Natalie Woodlock is a printmaker, working on both paper and fabric. In the last few years, she has been screenprinting portraits of her queer friends on satin banners, edging them with fringe. These heraldic and commemorative pieces celebrate a subculture with its roots in punk, radical social movements and the hedonism of gay party culture. These portraits are also available on paper, as limited-edition screenprints. Many of her other prints, tees, and bandanas feature romantic and botanical imagery.
