Septarian Dragon Egg
Septarian Dragon Eggs, also known as Septarian nodules, were formed around 50 to 70 million years ago as a result of volcanic eruptions. Dead sea life was chemically attracted to the sediment around it forming mud balls which, when the ocean receded, dried up. Due to their bentonite content they also shrank in size, creating the cracks inside. Septarian comes from the Latin “septem” meaning seven because the mud balls tended to crack in 7 points in every direction, creating the distinct pattern these nodules exhibit.
"Bringing together the qualities of Calcite, Aragonite and Chalcedony, Septarian encourages taking care of the earth--the gray concretions found on the stone connect to devic energy. This stone focuses the healing vibrations within drumming and chanting circles, and can be used to enhance the cohesiveness of any spiritual group.
Useful for Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Septarian assists in repatterning and reprogramming, and directs the practitioner to the most appropriate tools.
Septarian harmonizes the emotions and intellect with the higher mind to bring illumination.
This joyous stone provides support while you incubate ideas and assists in manifesting them, inculcating patience, tolerance and endurance. Conversely, if you have ideas but never put them into practice, it concretizes your creativity. Septarian is a useful support during public speaking as it assists in making each individual within an audience feel that they are being personally addressed. Septarian also enhances your ability to communicate within a group.
Emotionally nourishing and calming, Septarian is a useful tool for self-nurturing and for caring about others."
