February 22: Tarot 101 for Creatives
Tarot 101 for Creatives is an beginner's tarot class that teaches you how to read tarot based on creative and artistic theories and practices as opposed to traditional methods. For example, storytelling, art analysis, and accessing your personal knowledge of symbols (as opposed to the accepted standard interpretation of them) are among the principles strongly emphasized and will allow you to learn your deck easily and walk away confident in your ability to read (almost) any deck. This is a 101 class and is best for beginners. You will gain the tools you need to gain a deeper, more personal knowledge of your tarot deck, AND you'll learn how to pick up other decks and learn those quickly. We'll tell some stories, play some games, and ultimately develop your tarot knowledge in a deeply creative and personal way. Please bring your own deck (any deck!) and stuff to take notes with.
